Dr. Gamal has more than twenty years of experience in arbitration, in both commercial and investment dispute resolution, particularly in the sectors of construction and oil and gas.

He is a legal practitioner with in-depth experience and has represented several public entities in various arbitral disputes in addition to representing international companies in multi-million-dollar disputes.

He has led several critical negotiations both with investors and states/public entities in complex commercial disputes.

He acted as Counsel and arbitrator before several arbitral institutions, in particular ICC Paris, ICSID and CRCICA.

Dr. Gamal has several prestigious publications, particularly in Kluwer Arbitration, and is also lecturer at universities and speaker in conferences and seminars.
