  • Banking Lawyer 5+ PQE ( Hybrid)
    Mid-senior level associate required for a law firm - open to those with MENA experience preferably. This role would suit someone with:
    • Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university, UK, USA, AUSTRLIA is preferred.
    • At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in a banking/finance team (private practice)
    • Prior experience in general banking & finance transactions (conventional and/or islamic).
    • Additional experience with corporate finance/funds would be beneficial but is not required.
    • Fluency in English, Arabic language skills not required.

  • Legal Services - Business Development Specialist
    Experience: Minimum 5-6 years or more in Business Development within Law Firms
    We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager with 5-6 years of experience in the legal industry in the MENA region. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in representing our firm and driving our business development initiatives to new heights.

    Responsibilities:

    - Develop and implement effective business development strategies to enhance the firm's client base and revenue. - Identify and target potential clients, both locally and internationally. - Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and explore opportunities for cross-selling services. - Collaborate with lawyers and partners to identify new business opportunities and prepare compelling proposals. - Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the legal market. - Manage and evaluate the firm's CRM system to track client interactions and opportunities. - Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to potential clients and partners. - Participate in networking events and conferences to expand the firm's presence in the legal community.

    Requirements:

    - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Corporate Lawyer
    One of the prestigious law firms seeking a highly skilled and motivated English Corporate Lawyer to join their team in Doha. As a mid-level corporate lawyer, you are required to play a crucial role in providing legal advice and support to their corporate clients operating in the region. Your expertise in English and other languages is preferred, coupled with your corporate law experience, will be instrumental in ensuring effective communication and understanding between the firm and their clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide legal counsel and advice on corporate matters, including corporate governance,
    mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and commercial agreements.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, such as contracts, agreements,
    and legal opinions, in English language.
    • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues, ensuring compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, compliance, and operations, to identify legal risks, develop strategies, and implement solutions.
    • Participate in due diligence exercises, ensuring comprehensive reviews of potential transactions and identifying legal risks and opportunities.

    Requirements:

    • bachelor’s degree in law from a reputable university (UK, USA, AUSTRALIA) is preferred.
    • Admitted to practice law in GCC or a recognized jurisdiction.
    • 3-6 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department,
    with a focus on corporate law and commercial transactions.
    • Fluent proficiency in both written and spoken English (Arabic is not essential).
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure, In-depth knowledge of Qatar corporate laws, regulations, and business practices.
    • Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
    • Experience in handling cross-border transactions and familiarity with international legal frameworks would be advantageous.
    • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Construction & Projects Lawyer Qatar / MENA
    Role Requirements
    Our firm can offer varied work in a range of in-house teams and potentially within A&O practice. Currently we are seeking lawyers with 5-7 year to join our litigation team are experienced in each of the Qatari court circuits and represent contractors on major complex infrastructure and energy disputes.

    Successful applicants will:

    • Have a minimum of four years' post-qualification experience at a top tier law firm, ideally with some in house exposure either directly or remotely.
    • Have worked complex infrastructure or energy projects for both private sector developers and investors.
    • have extensive local Qatari litigation experience, including drafting pleadings and memos, working with consultants and Court Appointed Experts, will have the ability to support English language arbitration cases with civil law advice as needed.
    • Experience within project development would be beneficial although not essential.
    • Experience of development financing deals and forward funding transactions would be advantage.
    • Have excellent academic credentials; have bachelor’s degree in law from a recognized university, UK, USA, AUSTRLIA is preferred.
    • A practicing certificate (or equivalent) which entitles them to practice as a lawyer in other jurisdictions.
    • A consultant mindset - be resilient, open to experiencing new challenges and environments and be excited to develop their skill set and brand within the consultancy field.
